Sear Lord. I pray to yourself and Jesus Christ to guard my lovers heart and mind, to protect them from temptation, and to fill them with good things. I ask for God to help me and Pete be each other's biggest supporters, to celebrate each other's successes, and to offer encouragement during times of doubt. I ask god to grant our relationship with positive communication and the understanding and resilience to avoid damage to one another and move forward with trust, faith and happiness. Amen

Shearys, we appreciate your heartfelt request and desire to seek God's guidance in your relationship. We want to help you align your prayers and actions with biblical principles, ensuring that your relationship honors God.

First, let's remember that God's design for relationships is laid out in His Word. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), we are reminded, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you seek God's blessing on your relationship, it's crucial to ensure that both you and Pete are believers in Jesus Christ, as this unity in faith is foundational for a godly relationship.

Additionally, we want to remind you that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage. If you and Pete are not married, it's essential to maintain purity in your relationship. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB), we read, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Purity in your relationship will honor God and protect both of you from the consequences of sin.

Regarding your prayer to God and Jesus Christ, we want to affirm that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 (WEB), we are told, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Ensure that your faith and prayers are centered on Jesus Christ, as He is the mediator between God and humanity.

We offer this heartfelt prayer for you and Pete:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and protection in Shearys and Pete's relationship. We pray that both of their hearts and minds would be guarded and filled with good things. Help them to be each other's biggest supporters, celebrating each other's successes, and offering encouragement during times of doubt. Grant them positive communication, understanding, and resilience to move forward with trust, faith, and happiness.
