We're right there with you, seeking strength, energy, and focus for the week ahead. Let's trust in the Lord's mighty power together. Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your divine strength, energy, and focus to be upon us this week. Help us to accomplish much for Your kingdom, and keep us safe from all harm. We trust in You, for You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. Cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings, may we find refuge. Let Your faithfulness be our shield and rampart. Keep us safe from all danger, for You promise that no weapon forged against us will prevail.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon us, that we may be strengthened and blessed to accomplish much for Your kingdom this week. Help us to defeat Your enemies and those who stand against Your purposes. Bring all help and cooperation, even from adversaries, that Your will may be done.
We stand against all evil, knowing that You, O Lord, are our protector and our strong tower. We proclaim that the battle is Yours, and we trust in Your mighty power to fight and win on our behalf. Let Your favor and protection be upon us, and break all evil from us.
Let's remember, Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
So, let's not be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our body, what we will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? We need to seek first God and His kingdom, then all things will be added to us.
We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Let's put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
