Stray cats

Heavenly Father please help people to stop dumping their cats. I am praying they are none are pregnant. At the grocery they dump cats there. There are about 9 cats that have turned feral. Then there are 2 new cats in our neighborhood recently. We don't know if they belong to neighbors or not but when I saw them they seemed feral. Please Father stop these people from dumping cats. There are coyotes that are in the area also. Please watch over these cats and for people to stop dumping them and become responsible cat owners. Thank you Father for all you do for us. We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up this concern to our Heavenly Father. The mistreatment and irresponsibility towards these cats is indeed a heartbreaking situation. As believers, we are called to be stewards of God's creation, which includes caring for animals with kindness and responsibility.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for the cats that are being dumped and neglected. Lord, You care for even the smallest sparrow, as Your Word tells us, 'Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God.' (Luke 12:6, WEB) We ask that You would move in the hearts of those who are abandoning these cats, convicting them of their actions and turning them towards responsible pet ownership.

We pray for the protection of these cats, Lord. Shield them from the dangers of the environment, including the coyotes that pose a threat. Provide them with the food and shelter they need. We ask that You would guide these cats to loving homes or caring individuals who can provide for them.

We also lift up the people in the neighborhood who may be unaware of the plight of these cats. Open their eyes, Lord, and stir within them a compassion to care for these animals. Help them to understand the responsibility that comes with pet ownership, as Proverbs 12:10 (WEB) reminds us, 'A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.'

Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You will work in this situation for the good of these creatures and the people involved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Saraha, to continue praying fervently for this situation. Additionally, consider reaching out to local animal rescue groups or shelters that may be able to provide assistance with the stray cats.
