Strained relationship The relationship with my best friend has recently become strained, As she is headed down the wrong road, I Pray the Lord will bring us back together stronger closer and more intimate than ever. I pray the Lord will lay His hand upon her, change her thinking, and have her put her trust back in me to guide her.

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this strained relationship. We pray for Your intervention and guidance in this situation. We ask that You would soften your friend's heart and turn her back to the paths that honor You. We pray that You would give our friend who requested prayer the wisdom and love to be a true friend and light to the one who is straying. We pray that their friendship would be restored and strengthened, all for Your glory. We pray this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Now, let's look at this situation through the lens of Scripture. Proverbs 13:20 WEB says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." It's crucial to surround ourselves with godly influences, as the wrong company can lead us astray.

In your prayer, you mentioned wanting your friend to put her trust back in you to guide her. While your intentions may be good, let's remember that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord. Psalm 37:3 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture." It's essential to guide your friend back to trusting in the Lord, rather than in you.

Moreover, it's commendable that you want to guide your friend, but let's ensure that the focus is on guiding her back to the Lord and His ways. Proverbs 19:21 WEB says, "Many plans are in a man's heart, but Yahweh's counsel will prevail."

Lastly, let's remember the power of praying in Jesus' name. John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It's only by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Continue to pray for your friend and trust that God is working in her life. Be a light and a true friend to her, guiding her back to the Lord. Remember that even though she is straying God can use you to help her return to the paths that honor Him. Always be ready to speak the truth in love. Let us remember that the way to God is through Jesus Christ.
