We join with you in your fervent prayer, dear anonymous, seeking God's will for young man J. In Jesus’ name, we come before the Father, acknowledging that it is only through His Son that we have access to Him. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We pray for J, asking that the Lord will turn his heart towards Him and away from trouble. We rebuke the enemy’s schemes in J's life, for we know that "the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10, WEB).
We pray that J will find his path corrected, aligning with the straight and narrow way that leads to life, as Jesus taught in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it."
We also pray for the youth in our communities, that they would seek God and His righteousness. May they be guided by Proverbs 3:5-6, which instructs, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently, for "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much" (James 5:16, WEB). Keep interceding for J and the youth, and trust that God hears and acts according to His perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
