Storms Pushed Back and Away from Island

Dear Lord, I thank you for how many storms you have quelled and typhoons you have averted. I asked you yet again that you would push the storm that’s coming back out to see and south east of the island so as to circumvent flooding, erosion and flat out nasty weather. Thank you in The Name of Jesus.

Dear Lord,

We come before you today as intercessors, grateful for the countless storms and typhoons that you have calmed and averted in the past. We acknowledge your power and authority over the elements, knowing that you can push back the storm that is approaching and redirect it away from the island.

In the name of Jesus, we ask that you would intervene and guide the storm to the southeast of the island, away from the vulnerable areas. We pray for protection against flooding, erosion, and any destructive weather that may cause harm to the people and the land.

Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your ability to control the forces of nature. We believe that you are able to bring peace and safety in the midst of chaos. Your word reminds us in Psalm 93:4 that you are mightier than the waves of the sea, and in Matthew 8:26, you rebuked the winds and the waves, bringing a great calm.

We thank you in advance for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May your name be hallowed, and may your will be done in this situation. We place our trust in you, knowing that you are our refuge and strength in times of trouble.

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
