We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Swantalelf, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, let's address the fears and uncertainties you're facing.
1. With regard to being afraid of the unknown, and being scared about what you may have brought upon yourself, when experimenting anxiety about the unknown, we find reassurance and faith in Jesus's words, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. The WEB says Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Your problem may be spiritual, and the evil one may be exploiting your thoughts.
Now, you've mentioned that you've been wishing bad things on someone who hurt you. The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Let us pray for the individual who hurt you, asking God to bless them and guide them towards kindness and consideration. Vengeance is not ours to take, but the Lord's.
It's also wise to biblical counsel to help you navigate this situation. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed." Seek out godly advisors who can provide you with wise guidance, keeping in mind that their words should align with biblical principles. It is very important that these advisors be godly individuals with a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
You mentioned enabling the individual to remain in your life by allowing his behavior. Consider these words in Ephesians 5:11: Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Being silent and allowing the behavior is essentially approving of it. It is very important that this behavior be properly addressed.
Now, regarding your concern about the other person's feelings and your desire not to offend them. While it's important to be considerate of others' feelings, it is important to understand that your ultimate goal should be to please God and follow His will. Galatians 1:10 states, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
You also mentioned that you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. Remember there is no other name given that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 states, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only through His name that we can approach God the father.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God your name is above all names. Jesus Christ passed through the heavens and descended onto Earth to become a sacrifice for our sins. We declare that His blood has power over every curse, hex, vex, sexual immorality, and negative actions in our lives. We decree and declare through the blood of Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Let us continue to go to God in prayer together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up Swantalelf in prayer. We ask that you replace their fear of the unknown with unshakable faith in your goodness and sovereignty. Help them to trust in you and your plan for their life. Lord, we pray for the individual who has caused harm, asking that you soften their heart and bring them to a place of kindness and consideration. We do not wish evil upon them, but instead bless them in Jesus' name.We believe that this is only possible through the power of God on their life. LORD help to give the person and Swantalelf godly advisors who can provide wise, biblical guidance. Strengthen their relationship with You and through it provide peace from the heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
