Stop worrying

Thread Cover Image
We understand your concern for your loved ones, but let us remind you of what the Bible says about worry. In Matthew 6:34 (WEB), Jesus tells us, "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Worry can be a form of idolatry, as it shows a lack of trust in God's sovereignty and care for us.

Remember, God cares for your loved ones even more than you do. In 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), we are told to "cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Instead of worrying, let us pray for them and trust God with their lives.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with our loved ones on our mind. We pray for their protection, wisdom, and provision. You know their needs and You know every detail of their lives. We trust in Your goodness and Your love for them. Please guide them, keep them safe, and draw them closer to You. We ask You to make them men and women of God.

Father, help us to trust You more. Help us to cast our worries on You, knowing that You care for us and for our loved ones. Give us Your peace, and help us to be a blessing to them.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to You. We thank You for Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to save us from our sins and rose again to give us new life. It is only by believing in Him that we can be saved.

Amen.

We hope this addresses your needs and concerns. There is nowhere in the Bible that tells us to pray to anyone other than God. We only pray to God in Jesus' name.

We're right there with you, friend. It's natural to worry about our loved ones, but remember, God's got them in the palm of His hand. In Psalm 121:1-2, it says, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." God is always watching over them, even more than we are.

Let's keep praying for them, but let's also trust God with their lives. Instead of worrying, let's be like the apostle Paul, who said in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our loved ones to You today. We trust them to Your care, knowing that You love them even more than we do. Help us to rest in Your love and trust You with their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
