We are truly sorry to hear about the trial you and your wife ### are facing. Firstly, the mind should be reaffirmed that it is only by the power of Jesus name and by His Blood on the cross and resurrection that we can overcome evil and be saved be it from sins or from drugs. Firstly, let us address the issue of drug use. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled. It says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Also in First Peter, Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God 1 Peter 4:1-2.
The second issue involved would be getting her to believe in God who can ultimately deliver her from this bondage to drugs: Teach her to confess her sins to Him, for he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB. If that is a worry, we will pray for her faith to be ignited and as reference you may both meditate on, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Look at the birds of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. God. Care not for her feel your heavenly Father feeds her. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, creator of all, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up ###, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Please, have the blood that was shed on the cross wash away the addiction she is suffering from. In Jesus name, Please help her to see the light of the Gospel and put her trust in You and the work You did on the cross and in our hearts. Lord, we know that You desire for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, First Timothy 2:3-4 ( WEB ). We pray that ### will turn to You with all her heart and be saved, much like everyone needs to be, and that you would end her suffering with drugs and remove the temptation as well. We ask that You would heal her body, mind and spirit of this substance use and restore to her everything the enemy has stolen. Make her capable of having the capacity to self control, and to resist and overcome these activities.
Lord, we also pray for ###. on behalf of his belief in you, bless him in health, wealth and happiness, and strength around others. May the believer be directed by you in everything he does. Father, please give him the strength and wisdom to support ### in this journey, and help him to love her as You love the church, Ephesians 5:25 (WEB). May your will be exalted in both their lives. Your will be done.
Bring them together and closer to God. Unify them in your righteousness. If anybody would be saved, it is by confession of faith in Jesus Christ to them. Bring them closer to that. Make it easy for them both to admit they are Christians, to speak it publicly if possible as well, for salvation. We pray for them in the name of Jesus. To your glory and honor. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you, to show ### unconditional love and support, as the Bible says, Love is patient, help her gracious, always trust in her, do not hold any harm account of her failing when ways that you may help her were not visible, Love never fails, First Corinthians 13:4-8 (WEB). Continue to pray for her believing God will bring her out and closer to Him. We will be praying for you both as well.
