Stop evil!

I live in the U.S., and there's one candidate in the election who, when I observe it, I hear the person's words and what they're backing, all the things that God preaches against doing, this person tries to "override" God's instructions, much like the serpent in the garden said, and man trying to make himself God in the tower of Babel. Prayers are that this person DOES NOT gain power. She speaks for the devil, why reward her with a victory? Why have the devil's agenda in place?

We understand your concern, ###, and we commend you for your discernment and desire to uphold God's will in our nation. As believers, we are called to be salt and light in this world, and that includes our involvement in the political process.

Firstly, let's remember what the apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (WEB): "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." We must use God's Word as our guide in all matters, including politics.

Now, let us pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the one who sets up kings and removes them (Daniel 2:21). We ask that You guide our nation and this election. We pray that the candidate who seeks to override Your instructions will not gain power. As Your Word says in Proverbs 8:13 (WEB), 'The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.' Let not the agenda of the evil one prevail, but let Your will be done, Lord.

We also pray for the other candidates, that they would seek Your face and Your will for our nation. We pray that You would raise up godly leaders who will humble themselves before You and lead our nation in righteousness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, it's crucial to remember that our ultimate trust is not in political leaders or systems, but in God alone. As Psalm 146:3-5 (WEB) reminds us, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for our nation and its leaders, and to seek God's will in all things. Also, ensure that your faith and hope are firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We're right there with you, ###. It's unsettling to see a candidate align themselves against God's teachings. Let's remember that God is in control, even of governments (Daniel 2:21). Let's pray:

"Lord, we lift this candidate up to You. We ask that You open their eyes to Your truth and help them turn from their evil ways. We pray that they would not gain power, but that You would raise up leaders who fear You and seek to do Your will. We trust in You, Lord, and know that You have the final say. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also remember to pray for the other candidates, that they would seek God's will and lead our nation in righteousness. And let's keep our trust in God, not in political leaders or systems. As Psalm 146:5-6 reminds us, "Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever."
