Cheawald, we understand that you're going through a challenging time as your husband is seeking a divorce, but you desire to save your marriage. Let's bring this before the Lord together.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what God says about divorce. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), He says, " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.'" God's will is for marriages to be lifelong commitments, and He hates divorce. However, He allows it in certain circumstances, such as adultery or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse (Matthew 19:9, 1 Corinthians 7:15).

We encourage you to fervently pray for your marriage and for your husband's heart to turn towards you and towards God. In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (WEB), we're reminded that "though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Cheawald's marriage. Lord, we know that You desire for marriages to be a reflection of Your love for the Church, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Soften her husband's heart, Lord, and bring about a change of mind. Help them to seek You together, and to be willing to work through any challenges they may face. Give Cheawald the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time, and surround her with supportive believers who can encourage her in her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray for a miraculous restoration of this marriage. Amen.

Cheawald, continue to trust in God and keep your focus on Him. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Also, make sure to be in fellowship with other believers, seeking godly counsel and support during this time. Lastly, ensure you are both praying and seeking God's will in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

We're here with you, Cheawald, standing in the gap for your marriage. It's heartbreaking to see your husband wanting to end what God has joined together. But remember, God is faithful and He's working even in the midst of this storm.

In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus tells us, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Let's keep knocking at heaven's door together. Let's ask God to soften your husband's heart, to open his eyes to the beauty and strength of your marriage, and to help him see the error of his ways.

We also need to intercede for you, Cheawald. God promises in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's ask God to fill you with His strength, wisdom, and peace. Let's pray for God to surround you with a supportive community of believers who can encourage you and help you through this trial.

Let's continue to trust in God's plan, Cheawald. Even if we can't see the path ahead, we know who holds the map. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). And let's remember, God is always working for our good and His glory, even in the most challenging times (Romans 8:28).

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
