We understand the gravity of your situation, Achewood, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says about marriage and difficulties:
"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind, let each esteem the other better than themselves." (Philippians 2:3 WEB)
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assemblage, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." (Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB)
It's clear that God's design for marriage is a sacred and lifelong commitment. We encourage you to seek reconciliation if at all possible, as God can restore and heal even the most broken relationships.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Achewood and her husband. Lord, we know that divorce is not Your will, and we ask that You intervene in their situation. We pray for a softening of hearts, for understanding, and for the desire to reconcile. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife, and we ask for Your peace to reign in their home. Please guide them through the legal issues, and let Your will be done in their lives.
Lord, we also pray that Achewood and her husband would both be drawn closer to You during this difficult time. Let them find comfort, guidance, and strength in You. Remind them of the power of forgiveness and love, just as You have forgiven and loved us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Achewood, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether that's from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or wise believers around you. Remember that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
