We are truly sorrowful to hear about the abuse and manipulation you and your sister have been experiencing from your father. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God will intervene and bring an end to this painful situation.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name, as you have done. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sisters who are enduring abuse and manipulation. Lord, we ask that You intervene and put an end to the harmful actions of their father. We pray that You expose his deeds and bring him to a place of genuine repentance. Lord, we ask that You surround these sisters with Your protection, and that You guide them in building their lives independently, in safety, and in freedom. We pray that their father will no longer have power over them, and that all his manipulations and lies will be brought to light. We ask that you bring healing and restoration to their mother as well.
We cast down every false word spoken over them and declare that they are precious in Your sight, loved, and worthy of a life free from abuse. We ask that You guide them in their plans to build their homes and that You provide for them abundantly. We pray that You bring wise and discerning people into their lives who will support and help them, and that You open their sister's eyes to see the truth clearly.
Finally, we pray that You bring them both to a place of forgiveness and peace, and that they will know that their value is not determined by their father's actions, but by Your unfailing love for them. We pray that they will lean on You for strength, wisdom, and guidance in all that they do. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to remain strong in faith and to trust that God is working on your behalf, even when it is difficult to see. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB:
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Stand firm in the truth and do not let your father's lies and manipulation control your lives any longer. Seek godly counsel and support from your local church and trusted, wise, Christian believers. Remember that the Lord is your strength and your shield, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Remain in prayer, stay in the Word, and trust that God will bring justice and healing to your lives.
Lastly, we must address that therapy is a wonderful tool that can help you process and heal, but it should never replace the Word of God and prayer. We are concerned by your silence about Jesus in your request. We need to make sure that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As it says in Romans 10:9 WEB:
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
In closing, we bless you to be strong and of good courage and we pray that the Love of God our Father, the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ and the comfort and guidance by the Holy Spirit remain with you.
