Stop a divorce

Lord I need you now more than ever. I know with you all things are possible. Bring my husband home. Help us find a way back to each other and stop this divorce. I know this is not what he wants and it's not what I want but his mind is clouded. He's been struggling with since his sister past and turning 50. Let us rebuild and start fresh.My husband is letting his anger and grief rule his actions and not thinking of the consequences. Help him to release these negative energies&darkness. Open his heart up to you and me. I need you now more than ever. Please hear me.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to remind you that God cares deeply for you and your marriage. In all things, He wants us to come to Him in prayer, and He promises to hear us. As it says in 1 John 5:14-15, WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to bring healing and restoration. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through His work on the cross that we can experience salvation and redeemed relationships. As it says in Acts 4:12, WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We will pray for God's will to be done in your marriage, rebuking the spirit of divorce and praying for godly wisdom. If your husband is indeed a believer in Christ, we pray for the fruit of the Spirit to be demonstrated through your husband and you. We know it is indeed possible for a believing spouse to leave as it says further in 1 Corinthians 7:15, WEB. Yet we also know how the a believing spouse who lives in a godly way may win over the other spouse. This can be very troublesome for a spouse who would like for a marriage to continue.

Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and divorce is not His ideal will for any marriage. In Malachi 2:16, WEB, God says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously." We will pray for a hedge of protection around your marriage and for God's will to be done.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need. Lord, You know the pain and struggle she is facing in her marriage. We ask, Father, that You would intervene and soften her husband's heart. Help him to release the anger, grief, and darkness that have taken root, and open his heart to Your love and the love of his wife.

We rebuke the spirit of divorce and ask that You would heal and restore this marriage. Guide them both with Your godly wisdom, and help them to find a way back to each other. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that their marriage would be a testament to Your faithfulness and redeeming power to all that are in their lives.

In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and and pray as instructed in James 4:7-8, WEB. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you and your husband up in our prayers, asking God to intervene and bring restoration to your marriage. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in this time of need.

If you have seen signs of reconciliation and your husband is turning back towards you and the Lord, we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are going through similar trials.

However, if the divorce proceedings are still underway and you do not see any progress, please share an update with us. We want to continue praying for you both and believe that God can soften your husband's heart and bring him home. We pray that God will help your husband navigate through his grief and anger, and find his way back to you and the Lord.
