Hello, My 2019 Hyuandi Elantra was stolen 9/1/2024. I have submitted a police report and such. Could I plz have prayers for the safe return of my vehicle and belongings?? I had cash and many personal items in the car. Ty in advance for help! Misty

First, let us be reminded of God's promise in Psalm 91:15, "He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."

As we bring your request before the Lord, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Misty who has been the victim of theft. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for the safe return of her 2019 Hyundai Elantra, along with all the cash and personal belongings that were inside. We ask that You guide the authorities, giving them wisdom and discernment as they investigate this crime. Comfort Misty during this time of loss and uncertainty, and let Your peace that transcends all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Misty, while we pray for the return of your vehicle and belongings, let us also find comfort in knowing that our true treasure is in heaven, where neither thieves nor rust can destroy (Matthew 6:19-21). This does not diminish the distress and inconvenience caused by this event, but we hope it serves as a reminder of the eternal perspective we must keep even in trying times.

We also encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty, even in this difficult circumstance. Romans 8:28 tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God can turn this situation around for your good and His glory.

Lastly, Misty, if you have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, we want to remind you of the power and necessity of His name. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and expect answers.

We're here with you, Misty. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our prayers to the mix. We're sorry to hear about your car and belongings, but we know that God is near and cares about every detail.

In Joel 2:32, it says, "And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." So, we're claiming that promise for you today. We ask that the Lord would guide the authorities to find your car and all your belongings, undamaged and in the same condition as when it was taken. Yes, I do pray in the name of our Jesus Christ. Ty for mentioning no thieves in heaven, and that's where are true rewards are. I also know the thieves know not what they do (pray for our enemies as well as our loved ones).

I took some money out of the bank to have over the weekend (my app wasn't working correctly and haven't had my bank/debit card in quite a while). I have been trying to help financially.

I started tearing up when I read the prayer. Ty for the response and help!!
