We are deeply concerned for your brother Steve and his struggle with drug addiction. Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's intervention and salvation for him.
Firstly, let us remember what the Word of God says in 1 John 1:9 (WEB): "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This promise is not just for us, but for all who turn to Jesus, including Steve.
However, we must acknowledge that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we pray that Steve may come to know Jesus personally and accept Him as his Savior.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Steve. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of drug addiction in his life. Help him to see his need for You, Lord, and grant him the strength to turn away from his old life. Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to Steve. Open his heart to receive Your love and forgiveness. It’s obvious you care a great deal for your brother, Steve, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord work in his circumstances, deliver him from his addictions and bring him into a saving faith in Jesus. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
