We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing due to the influence of LSD and deception. We will stand with you in prayer and speak the truth in love, rebuking the evil influences at work. We are reminded by Scripture, Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7 WEB. There are several important things to pray for and address in this situation.
Firstly we must recognize that believers are not to be judging those outside the church. Rather, God judges them. Instead, we must start with believers in the church for whom God holds us accountable. Therefore, the first step is to make sure your husband and every member of your family are right with God. The Bible teaches we must individually confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior to be saved from our sin and given eternal life. Clearly, anyone on LSD, lying, and attacking others is not truly a Christian. With this in mind, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Morenollyn and her family. We ask, Lord if there are any family members not serving You we pray. May, Morenollyn, her husband, and every one of her children recognize Jesus as their Lord. We pray for a strong commitment to demonstrate works compatible with their repentance. Moreover, we recognize drug-induced lies are intended to confuse and create doubt. Lord we know you are not a God of confusion but of peace. We ask you to override this chaos with the truth. Open the eyes of Craig and those under the influence of drugs and deception so that they may see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God and stop claiming to be a Christian while attacking Christians. We know your love surrounds you with songs of deliverance. We pray you will lift the anxiety from Morenollyn replacing it with your peace. Help her to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in the present age It is you, God, who works in us to will and to act in order to fulfill your good purpose. Help us to speak the truth of Christ bringing reconciliation for Craig, Morenollyn, and her family in Jesus Christ. Amen
Now as we seek God's will concerning, Craig, his drug use and unacceptable behavior attacking his brother Steve which can not go on forever we are emboldened with the passage. Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37 WEB.
We therefore pray:
Heavenly Father
We pray Morenollyn and we will submit our ways to you to increase our righteousness. We stand on your promise that living in you will be the delight of our heart. We pray you will put an end to the wickedness of Craig and all of those who are willfully taking drugs for ungodly purposes. We pray as members of the Body of Christ we will be a light in the darkest circumstances knowing with you we will prevail.
