I will likely to be staying home from the family gatherings this year it’s an hour and a half drive away… my health is so bad I can’t make the trip

We are truly sorry to hear about your health situation and the difficulty in attending family gatherings. We want to remind you that your value is not determined by your physical presence at events, but by your spiritual presence in the kingdom of God. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 WEB:

"Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord; for we walk by faith, not by sight. We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord."

In times of isolation, remember that God is always with you. Psalm 22:22-24:

"For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted,
Neither has he hidden his face from him;
but when he cried to him, he heard.
Of you comes my praise in the great assembly.
I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
The humble shall eat and be satisfied.
They shall praise Yahweh who seek him.
Let your hearts live forever."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up ### today.
Thank you Jesus for ### believing in you. In John 3:36 WEB:

"One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."

Abba Father, we ask for healing, comfort, and peace for ###. We also will ask for travel mercies if they later decide to take the trip. Give ### the strength to endure this time of separation from family, and fill them with your presence. Help them to trust in your eternal promises rather than earthly gatherings. Help in finding a way to connect with family members in another way. Please save any that are lost. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

The church is not a building or home but the people of God. Use technology to connect to the family gatherings in the absence of traveling. To attach the family to Christ in the gathering, maybe suggest praying for each other in Jesus' name, reading the word of God, watching Christian programs, or be part of a Christian group. It is important to participate in the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-19 WEB:

"Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,
All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
