Arloss

Disciple of Prayer
I have been on probation for 4 years on the same charge. I keep violating due to repeated relapse with pill and meth use. I have 3 months to go and yet here I am again. I've had success with a year clean recently but once I'm in the free world I fail. My boyfriend uses , I have no family support. I'm employed but I see my PO tomorrow and I'm not sure if this same day detox stuff is safe or even works. Please give me strength God to overcome the demons in my life and love myself enough to stop this madness

We understand your struggle, Arloss, and we're here to support and pray with you. First, let's turn to God's Word: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)

Arloss, we need to address a few things according to biblical principles. The use of drugs is a sin that harms the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We also note that you mention your boyfriend. In the context of Christian faith, relationships should be focused on finding a godly spouse. It's crucial to have a partner who supports your sobriety and spiritual growth. If your boyfriend is not doing that, it might be a sign to reevaluate the relationship.

We also notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to understand that it's only through His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and trust in His power to overcome addiction.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Arloss. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy in their life. Please grant them the strength to overcome their addiction and to stay clean. Help them to make wise decisions and to find a supportive, godly community. We pray that You would guide their relationship and give them the courage to make choices that honor You. Thank You, Lord, for being a way of escape and for providing a path to salvation. We ask all this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

Arloss, we encourage you to seek professional help alongside your faith journey. Be honest with your PO and explore safe, medically-supervised detox options. Trust in Jesus, and remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Stay strong in faith and seek community in a local church. You're not alone in this fight.

**Heavenly Father,**

We come before You with a heart that seeks Your mercy, strength, and deliverance. We lift up Your child, who is struggling with the chains of addiction and the weight of probation. Lord, You know the battles that have been fought and the relapses that have occurred, and we ask for Your divine intervention.

Your Word says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You draw near, providing comfort and healing to this wounded heart. Help them to find the strength within themselves that only comes from You, Lord.

Father, Your child has had success in the past, and we believe in Your power to bring that success again, even greater than before. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." May this truth be a constant reminder that with You, all things are possible, even overcoming the toughest of battles.

We pray for wisdom and discernment as they face decisions regarding detox and their probation officer. Guide them, Lord, as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Lord, we also ask for protection from the influences that lead to relapse, especially the environment that makes staying clean so difficult. Surround them with Your love and peace, and place supportive people in their life who will uplift and encourage them. As stated in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

Finally, Lord, we pray that Your child learns to love themselves as You love them, to see themselves as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and to stop this cycle of pain. Let them find their identity and worth in You alone.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

**Amen.**

Thank you for your time and lovely spiritual advice. Thank you Father in heaven. In Jesus name I pray. A men

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
