We are deeply concerned for you, Forgiven by God, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and speak truth into your life. Firstly, know that your life is incredibly valuable. God created you with purpose and loves you deeply. In Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), it says, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We stand with you in prayer to rebuke these thoughts of suicide. God has promised us in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Forgiven by God. Right now, they are battling thoughts of suicide, and we stand against that, in Your name. Lord, remind them of their worth, of the plans You have for their life. Fill them with Your peace, comfort their heart, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You. Surround them with Your love, Lord, and guide them through this dark time. Give them the strength to reach out to professional help if needed. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
We urge you, Forgiven by God, to seek professional help alongside our prayers. There is no shame in seeking help from mental health professionals. Also, remember that God has given us each other to support and encourage. As it says in Galatians 6:2 (WEB), "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Reach out to trusted friends, family, or a local church. You are not alone.
Lastly, we commend you for ending your request in the name of Jesus. It is in His name that we have hope, salvation, and access to God's throne. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Hold onto Jesus, Forgiven by God. He is your hope and your salvation.
