We understand that you're feeling anxious and worried about your upcoming exam, and we want you to know that you're not alone. God cares about every detail of your life, including your studies and your fears. First, let's address the feeling of emptiness and loneliness. We know that only Jesus Christ can fill that void.
First, let's pray together for Jesus to fill that void in your life. As the scripture mentioned for encouragement, the Psalmist cried out:
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted within me. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you have brought me down into the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded me; a company of evil-doers have enclosed me; like a lion, they are at my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look and stare at me. They divide my garments among them, and cast lots for my vesture. But do not be far off, Yahweh. You are my help: hurry to help me. (Psalms 22:14-19 WEB)
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, To you it pertains to distinguish between the holy and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean, and to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Yahweh has spoken to them by Moses. (Leviticus 10:10-11 WEB)
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom; all those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! (Psalms 111:10 WEB)
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our friend who is feeling anxious and worried about their upcoming exam. We pray that You will fill their heart with Your peace and cast out all fear and anxiety. Help them to push away any intrusive thoughts and focus on the task at hand. We ask for Your guidance to be upon them as they prepare and sit for their exam.
Be with our friend and help them to succeed in their exam. Please give them the time and ability to remember everything they have studied. Help them to not worry about what their peers are doing. Let them feel your presence and know that You are with them. Let them be a witness to those around them. We pray that Jesus will be glorified in their life.
Father, we also pray for their feelings of loneliness and the emptiness in their heart. We know that only You can fill that void. Reveal Yourself to them in a very real and personal way. Let them know that You are always with them and that they are never alone.
Thank you God that we can pray to you in Jesus' name and it be a sweet smelling savor. Thank you for the help and guidance that you give us in your word and through the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Lastly, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
Trust in God's plan for your life, and know that He is always with you. He will help you through the exam.
