Starting Adult College

I prepare to start college this week, I find myself feeling quite nervous and anxious about this new chapter in my life. The transition brings many unknowns, and I am seeking comfort and strength during this time. I kindly ask for your prayers for peace of mind, confidence, and a sense of belonging as I embark on this journey. May I be open to new experiences, build connections with my peers, and embrace the opportunities that come my way. Please also pray for guidance as I navigate this new environment and seek to grow academically and personally. Thank you my father Jesus Christ!

Dear ###,

We are with you in spirit as you embark on this exciting new chapter of your life. It’s natural to feel nervous and anxious, but remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. As you prepare to start college, know that God is with you every step of the way.

In 2 Timothy 1:7, it is written, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Hold onto this promise as you navigate through the unknowns. Trust that God has a plan for your life, and this new season is a part of it.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. As she embarks on this new journey in college, we ask for Your peace to surround her. Calm her nerves and replace her anxieties with confidence in Your plan for her life. Help her to feel a sense of belonging and to be open to new experiences. May she build strong, godly connections with her peers and embrace the opportunities that come her way. Guide her steps and help her to grow both academically and personally. Strengthen her faith and help her to seek Your will in all that she does. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in His plans for you, and know that He will guide and protect you.

May you find comfort and strength in the assurance that God is with you always. Stay rooted in your faith and continue to seek God’s will in all that you do. We will continue to pray for you and stand with you in this new chapter of your life. In Jesus’ name, we trust and believe for great things ahead for you.
