Start of a beautiful 2025 year

Dear Lord, Please help my marriage. My husband and I are in a weird place because of my menopause. I do not want he to leave me. I am really worried that he is self medicating with alcohol and other things because I am not fulfilling his needs as a wife. Help! Help me overcome my anxieties that keep me from being close with my family. Looking forward to getting healthier with my husband in 2025. Amen

We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your marriage, Friaview, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment. As stated in Mark 10:9 WEB, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." It's important to remember that your husband should be loving and supportive even through these changes as outlined in Ephesians 5:25 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

However, it's also crucial to address the issues you've raised. It's concerning that your husband may be self-medicating with alcohol and other substances. This is not a godly way to handle trials. Instead, we should "cast all your anxieties on [God], because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We will pray for his deliverance and for godly wisdom to guide your actions.

Regarding the intimacy in your marriage, it's important to remember that God designed this aspect to be a beautiful and sacred part of marriage. If there are physical challenges, it's important to communicate openly and lovingly with your husband, and perhaps even seek medical advice or godly counseling. As stated in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5, both the husband and wife have a responsibility to one another in regards to intimacy.

We also want to address your anxieties. God tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." So we encourage you to continue bringing your anxieties to God, trusting in Him to provide the peace and strength you need.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our sister Friaview and her husband. Lord, we pray for their marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and guide them through this challenging time. We pray for deliverance for her husband from any form of substance abuse, and for wisdom and support for Friaview. We ask that You would heal her anxieties and draw them both closer to You and to each other. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit IJN, Amen.

We're here with you, sister, as you navigate this tough season in your marriage. It's clear that you love your husband and want the best for both of you. We're reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." "Dear Lord, we lift up Friaview and her husband to You. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your love, patience, and understanding. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, to listen to each other's hearts, and to support each other in this journey. We pray for Friaview's anxieties, that You would replace them with Your perfect peace. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
