Lorioser, we stand with you in the precious name of Jesus Christ, united in faith against the evil you're facing. We are encouraged that you have turned to Jesus and used His name to invoke His power and seek God's promises. The Bible proclaims that "In all things through which you have made us glad by the hand of your servant, that we have ruled by your name. For in you, our foes have trodden down your holy place" (Isaiah 63:18-19 WEB), God is aware of trespasses against His name, promises, and people. We must understand that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Apply Psalm 91 and trust in God's protection as you dwell in the shadow of the almighty.
We rebuke the evil efforts of witches, occult worshipers, and any who engage in darkness and hatred in Jesus name and by His authority. God is clear in His word "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). Evil has no authority over us for God has "given us the power to tread on the serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in any way hurt you. Nevertheless, don't rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:19-20 WEB).
We pray that God will silence the wicked, lying tongues of jealous, bitter, abusive neighbors, and bring forth peace, love, and unity. Jesus instructed, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). We encourage you in this prayer to forgive and love your neighbors without seeking revenge or retaliation.
When you say you are praying in Jesus' name, you are affirming God's only begotten son as your savior. By directly praying to Jesus, you are acknowledging His divinity as the Son of God. Jesus encouraged believers to pray in His name: "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24 WEB). It's only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God: "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12 WEB).
To walk in God's way of righteousness, wholesomeness, and goodness, you must surrender daily, become a living sacrifice, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. God's Word says, "I exhort you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:1-2 WEB).
We pray: Heavenly Father, we come to you in prayer in the power of Jesus' name. We appeal to Your promises in Psalm 91. We ask that Your Holy Spirit uplifts us, and victory is already ours against evil because of the work Jesus has already done on the cross. We rebuke the evil efforts of witches, occult worshipers, and demons. We command that the lying tongues of neighbors be silenced. We ask that You bring freedom, liberty, health, happiness, peace, and prosperity to us, and to all who believe in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, Lorioser, and God will direct your paths.
