standers encouragement 09/29/08

This past weekend was a challenging one for many people and their families. Looking back on it though, we all made it with the power of God. So many seemingly HUGE mountains face us and many look impossible to see over.I have been praying for all of us to be filled with strength and increased faith to keep walking with Jesus as he moves the mountains. Sometimes we think about our marriage and financial problems so much that miss the other blessing that have been placed at our door step. I read about mountains of divorce papers, children acting out, extreme physical distance, lack of communications, harsh words from spouses and other people and countless other "mountains" that seemed impossible to cross or break down. We must remember that we are praying to THE Lord Jesus Christ for help and to change our hearts, our spouses hearts, renew our marriages and families, and break down those mountains. Our Lord is moving on the other side of these huge mountains and when the time is perfect he will destroy that mountain all together. We don't need to fear these mountains. Tonight join me in bringing our spouses to the feet of the Lord Jesus. Tonight ask him for his healing power to touch their hearts, minds, bodies and souls. I Ask him to draw spouses and standers into his arms and never let us go. I ask the Lord to come into the hearts and minds of us, the standers, and give us the faith and strength to be still and let him move our mountains. In Jesus name I pray.

You alone Lord Jesus can do all the work that needs to be done, Strengthen all of Us standers and let us mount up with wings as eagles and soar. But most of all Lord Jesus hid us under the shadow of Your wings and Love us with Your everlasting Love as You remove all the mountians before us, In Jesus Wonderful and Awesome name, amen

What beautiful prayers. Lord help us to remember that our hearts are spoken for.....by YOU! We are yours first. Lord help us to remember that. Lord also help us to keep the strength to pray and stand for our marriages, even when the mountains seem to large to pass. Lord break them up and spread them out so that we may pass with the peace that only you can give.

We thank you for giving us the ability to STAND TOGETHER!! For we know that you provide strength in numbers and you have brought us together for a reason.

Dear Father, Please touch our prodigal spouses and we as standers. I for one feel very worn emotionally, physically and spiritually. I pray for our strength in all areas of our lives. I pray for our spouses to feel the tug on their hearts. I pray that as YOU, God destroy the mountain, we grow in the spirit. I pray that we never never forget what You are teaching us. With or without our spouses, we need to serve You . I remember Ruben told me, God is my Source whether Mike is home or not. True wisdom. Thank You Ruben, Ronnie and all the other standers who are encouragers, too. Father reward us because in Your Word You say You are a Rewarder of those who deligently seek You.
