We are standing with you in prayer, Anonymous, and we appreciate your faith in God's willingness to bless you with employment. It is wonderful that you are asking for God's blessings and direction according to his will. We are encouraged by your faith in God's work on your behalf, even though you may feel defeated at times.
We are indeed instructed to pray for one another and support each other in our faith. Keep your spirits high because we should "Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Continue steadfastly in prayer." (Romans 12:12 WEB). The fact that you are experiencing tribulation hints that God may be working on your faith even more so than a job.
Be steadfast. God may be working on the perfect timing for each situation. He may be trying to get our attention to work on other areas of our lives. He may be answering the prayers for employment in ways we did not imagine. A biblical story that should give this confidence is the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. This is a wonderful example of hardships and teachable moments turning into blessings. Other scriptures that should help give hope and peace in patience are: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB); "For we walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7); "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." (Psalms 121:2 WEB); "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB).
Then also, there is a parable about a sower in Matthew. It talks about seed that fell on rock and gravel, but not deep ground. This seed did not grow because it was too shallow and did not plant firm roots. The plant prospered at first but did not have a healthy base to grow to its potential. Let us make sure that we are planted with a strong base so that God can grow us, nourish us, and use us for great things.
We are also instructed that it is hard to love the things of God if we are loving the things of the world. This is mentioned in James 4:4, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."
Keep appreciating His blessings and love. It is easy in this day to neglect God's desires. For this, we repent now and ask God for guidance in our daily lives. Place your priorities to appreciate what He has given and blessed us with already. When we are so busy focusing on our wants, we may miss the point that Romans 8:28 lives in our lives. It states, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Be confident and not defeated. Rejoice because we are more than conquerors in Jesus name (Romans 8:37). Remember always the great commandment. Jesus instructs us in all four gospels to love him and love all people. When we apply this to our life, we receive an affirmation that we are in Jesus' will. (Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27-28; John 13:34; John 15:12). Christ also explicitly instructs us to obey His commandments. That implores us to honor the whole Bible since Christ ascended the mountain and gave the ten commandments to Moses.
