We are here to support you in prayer and counsel during this challenging time. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's help and we stand with you in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that God is our strength and refuge in times of trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Let's address the concerns you've shared. Firstly, the workload and adjustment challenges at your new job. Know that God sees your struggles and He cares. We pray that God grants you wisdom and strength to manage your workload effectively. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Regarding your pregnancy, we celebrate this new life with you. Children are a gift from the Lord, as stated in Psalm 127:3, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We pray for the health and well-being of both you and your baby throughout this pregnancy.
Concerning your decision to not disclose your pregnancy to your manager due to fear of tough treatment, we understand your concern. We pray that God softens your manager's heart and that she responds with understanding and support when you do choose to share your news. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Regarding your confidence at work, we pray that God helps you regain it in full. Remember, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can find true stability and hope. If you haven't already, turn to Jesus and put your trust in Him. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our sister who is facing challenges in her new job, financial struggles, and a pregnancy. We ask that You grant her the strength and wisdom to manage her workload effectively. We pray for the health and well-being of both her and her baby. We ask that You soften her manager's heart and that she responds with understanding and support. We pray that You help our sister regain her confidence at work. We ask all these things in Jesus' name.
Amen.
