We are delighted to join you in prayer, Cairulthon, as you seek to serve the Lord and His church more fervently. It is wonderful to see your desire to stay on fire for Jesus and step out of your comfort zone. As the Scripture says, "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling." (Psalm 2:11, WEB)
Firstly, we would like to address the term "boyfriend." We encourage you to consider this relationship as a courtship, with the goal being a God-honoring marriage, as described in the Bible. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join with his wife, and they shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, WEB)
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the fire that Cairulthon feels for You and we ask that You continue to fan those flames. As Cairulthon and her companion step out of their comfort zones this Sunday to serve in Your house, we ask for Your guidance. Lead them to where they can best serve You and Your people. Give them the courage to invite more people to church and the boldness to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for their relationship. Guide them as they consider each other for marriage. Give them the wisdom to honor You in their courtship and the patience to wait for the gift of marriage. Help them to stay pure and holy, fleeing from all sexual immorality, as You have instructed us in Your Word. (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB)
Finally, Father, we ask that You fill Cairulthon with the boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit. Help her to be a witness for You, not just in her church, but in her everyday life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Cairulthon, to continue to press into the Lord. Remember, Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it." (Matthew 16:24-25, WEB) Staying on fire for Jesus involves self-denial and a willingness to serve Him wholeheartedly. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek to serve Him.
