We understand your desire for you and your spouse to grow closer to the Lord, and we commend you for seeking freedom from worldly distractions. Let us pray and meditate on God's Word together.
Jesus tells us, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:31-32 WEB) And the Apostle John warns, "Don't love the world, or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's." (1 John 2:15-16 WEB)
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Analogopon and their spouse. Lord, we ask that You draw them closer to Yourself, that they may know You more intimately and walk in Your ways. Help them to separate from worldly distractions, especially television and music that do not glorify Your name. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, seeking Your face and Your will for their lives.
Father, we pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and centered on You. May their love for each other grow deeper as they grow closer to You. Help them to be a light to the world, reflecting Your love and holiness in their union.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Analogopon, remember to put God first in your marriage, seeking Him together and encouraging one another in faith. "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord." (Colossians 3:16 WEB) As you both draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8 WEB).
