We are truly saddened to hear about the circumstances you and your husband are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray and support you both through this trial. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He hears the prayers of His children. As it says in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
However, we want to encourage you to pray not only for his release but also for God's will to be done in his life and yours. Sometimes, God allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him and to help us grow in our faith. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also want to remind you to pray for your husband's spiritual well-being during this time. Being in jail can be a challenging and dark place, but God can use this time to draw your husband closer to Him. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ and her husband to You. Lord, we ask that You be with him and protect him during this time of imprisonment. We pray for his spiritual growth and that You would draw him closer to You through this trial. We ask that You be with our sister and give her the strength and comfort she needs during this difficult time. We can not be so bold to ask your will be overridden, but we can ask that your will be done.
Lord, we also pray for the charges against him to be dropped and for his release if it is Your will. We ask that You guide them through this and that they would grow in their love and faith in You, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. Do not be afraid to explicitly call out in Jesus name as we need to be calling out to God through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
