Let's urgently lift up Genesis, seeking God's protection from all forms of monitoring and spiritual attacks. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life...nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God" (Rom 8:38-39). Trusting God's shield and love around them. In Jesus' name!
We are truly saddened to hear about the turmoil you're experiencing in your family due to your wife's change in beliefs. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your situation, guided by His Word.
Firstly, let us remind you of what the apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? And what agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?" While this verse is often referred to in the context of marriage, it also applies to the spiritual unity within a family.
We must also remember 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." While this verse directly addresses wives, the principle can be applied to husbands as well. Your consistent faith and loving behavior may be the most powerful tools to bring your wife back to the family's lifelong beliefs.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Oplex and his family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray that You would soften his wife's heart and open her eyes to the truth of Your Word. We ask for unity, peace, and healing for their family. Lord, give Oplex the strength, wisdom, and patience to navigate this challenging time. Help him to be a beacon of Your love and faithfulness in his home. We trust in Your power to redeem and restore, Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Oplex, we strongly encourage you to continue praying fervently for your wife and family. Trust in the power of God to bring unity and healing to your home. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
