Cedar, We stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to fortify your spirit and guard your mind against the lies and schemes of the devil.
We are encouraged by your request as you acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name.
It is only through the name and authority of Jesus that we can be saved and for those saved, to approach the throne of God boldly in prayer.
Thank you for acknowledging this in your prayer request.
It is written in Ephesians 6:11 WEB, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We pray for you daily.
We are with reassuring faith that shortly see the hand of God.
God has given His children all that pertains to life and godliness.
Cedar this power that believers have is available through the knowledge of Him who called us through His own glory and virtue.
There is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.
The apostle Peter tells us this in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among people, by which we must be saved.
Consider the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing, for those with knowledge, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Do not expect that just because you are a believer God will prosper your life while you still are willfully sinning against Him.
The nations around the Israelites in Old Covenant times who were in willful sin did not have the option to ask for and receive punishment with mercy from God, but God allowed Israel to be punished with mercy.
God always is trying His best to protect us from the enemy, but if you allow the devil to have a toehold in your life and do not quickly repent, God in mercy at least will discipline you with mercy.
God disciplines every son whom he receives.
Bear this in mind whenever there is suffering in your life.
This is such an important issue because if you fail to resist the devil the first time, it will become exponentially harder the next time.
If you take a small step away from God, it becomes exponentially easier to continue down that path.
You can imagine the parabolic curve used in mathematics and science to understand what exponentially means.
Romans 13:14 WEB, But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
We pray that you would be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
