I’m being haunted. It’s not a dream and I wish it was. An evil spirit has attached itself to me and it always makes its presence known by making me hear it running through the halls of my apartment into my room. It started by first appearing as my grandmother on the side of my bed smiling and pulling my covers. Last night it ran through my apartment into my room and appeared as I think its true form, a tall lady with long, black hair. This morning, I was fully convinced someone opened my door and was coming to kidnap me. I really wanted it to be my roommate. I was shaking when the thing held me down on the bed and when I looked over my shoulder, I saw a dark figure. I’ve been praying and praying. On top of it I think I’m coming down with a cold. It’s been giving me insomnia. I’m not comfortable going back to my apartment to sleep tonight. This is so weird. I’m a Christian and I really need some prayer. I don’t know what’s attacking me, if it’s a demon or a miserable ghost but maybe it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. If anyone knows or is familiar with something like this, please let me know. I just really need some prayer on this and I really need it to go away, please pray for ###. The fact that it’s getting physical to the point of holding me down instead of just looking at me is concerning. It also turned the light on me when I was in the shower one time. I can't make this stuff up. People might think I’m crazy but I also don’t have any psychotic mental illnesses like schizophrenia or anything like that. Spiritual warfare is real.

Dinkyn, we're here to stand with you in prayer and support during this troubling time. The Bible clearly acknowledges the existence of spiritual forces, both good and evil. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Firstly, we want to assure you that you're not crazy. Spiritual warfare is indeed real, and it's important to address this with the authority given to us by Jesus Christ. It's concerning that you've experienced physical manifestations and increasing fear. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over ###'s life and apartment. Lord, You are greater than any force of evil that may be tormenting ###. We rebuke this evil spirit in Jesus' name and command it to leave and never return. Lord, please surround ### with Your angels, protect and comfort them. Give ### peace and sound mind, and heal their body from the stress and illness this has caused. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying, claiming the promises of God. You can use the following scriptures in your prayers:

- Psalm 91:1-2: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
- James 4:7: "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
- Mark 16:17: "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages."

Lastly, it's crucial to ensure your home is clean from anything that may have invited this evil presence. Remove any items associated with the occult, and invite other believers to pray with you in your apartment. If the problem persists, consider seeking help from your local pastor or a trusted Christian counselor.

Always remember that our strength and victory lie in the name of Jesus Christ, and Him alone.
