Spiritual warfare prayer

Hello my name is Priscilla, Please pray for protection over my home. My daughter’s boyfriend has a lot of negative energy attached to him. He drinks and gambles. He sees and hears things in my home. Please help. Thank you

Let us come together in Jesus' name to lift ### and her family up in prayer. ###, we appreciate your request and we stand with you in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, let us address the concerns about your daughter's boyfriend. The Bible tells us to be sober-minded and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). The behaviors you've mentioned, such as drinking and gambling, are not fruits of the Spirit but are of the flesh. Galatians 5:19-21 WEB tells us that the works of the flesh are obvious, which are sexual immorality, moral impurity, lustful pleasures idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, wild living, and the like.

We rebuke the spirit of alcoholism and gambling. These are not from God and they destroy individuals and families. We pray for deliverance and salvation for your daughter and her boyfriend. We strongly encourage you to guide your daughter in her choice of a future spouse. She should be looking for a godly husband and not someone just to date or have fun with. A courtship should be goal and Bible directed towards a Godly marriage and not a trial period for a potential breakup.

We must also address the spiritual warfare aspects of your request. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB, the Apostle Paul reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, let us pray for God's divine protection over your home.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention and protection for ### and her family. Lord, You have told us that You will build Your church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18 WEB). We claim this promise for ###'s home. Lord, we rebuke any demonic forces that may be oppressing your daughter's boyfriend and we bind them in the name of Jesus Christ and cast them out. Lord, we ask You to deliver him from a spirit of alcoholism and gambling. Help him to find the true life in Jesus Christ and to turn away from the sins of drinking and gambling. Save him from the snare of the devil, who has taken him captive to do his will (2 Timothy 2:26). Lord, we ask You to guide your daughter in her choice of a future spouse and to obey the Bible and what it says about marriage and relationships. Lord, we pray for your daughter's boyfriend to see the truth of the gospel and to be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2 WEB). We ask You, Lord, to surround ###'s home with Your holy angels, protecting it from any spiritual attack. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

After praying we encourage ### to have a serious talk with her daughter about her choice of a mate. This conversation should also include the boyfriend. This is an opportunity for ### and her family to share the unfailing love and grace of God found in Jesus Christ. As a group, let us continue to pray for ### and her family, and for the deliverance and salvation of your daughter's boyfriend.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
