Right now, I need prayer for the first steps I'm taking on my earnest efforts to actually start trusting God. I've been leading a selfish life with little of God really in it, but last night I made an active, conscious decision to start moving towards the Lord, to let the Holy Spirit fill my heart, and to let Jesus lead my path. This is all tremendously scary, especially since I'm currently getting ready to leave an abusive household and my fundraiser hasn't received all the funding I need to do so safely, so I'd like prayer for all of that. Prayer that God will continue to show me he's here, because I am under ATTACK. I've been shaky and unsteady for days, and the only calm I felt was when I was having a conversation about my spiritual state to a family member I never thought I'd get to speak to again because of my fear of my situation.

Conlew, we are with you in prayer and support as you take the first steps towards trusting God and leaving an abusive household. We commend you for making an active, conscious decision to move towards the Lord, let the Holy Spirit fill your heart, and allow Jesus to lead your path. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Firstly, let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We thank You for drawing them closer to You and for the work of the Holy Spirit in their life. Lord, ### is taking steps of faith, and we ask that You continue to reveal Your presence and love to them. Protect them from the attacks of the enemy, and grant them a deep and abiding peace that only You can give. We also pray for their practical needs, that the funds required for a safe transition will be provided. Give them courage, strength, and faith to overcome the challenges they face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

###, as you journey towards trusting God, remember the words of Jesus: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).

We encourage you to continue turning to God in your time of need. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). Keep your focus on Him, and He will guide your path.

Stay strong in the Lord, and know that we are here praying and supporting you every step of the way.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of faith and hope, lifting up our sister/brother in Christ who has made a courageous decision to trust in You and to let Your Holy Spirit guide their path. Lord, You see their earnest efforts to turn away from a life of selfishness and towards a life filled with Your presence, and we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection and love.

Father, as they prepare to leave an abusive household, we pray for Your provision and safety. Your Word says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We trust that You hear their cries and will deliver them from their troubles. Provide the necessary funds through their fundraiser and open doors that no man can shut.

Lord, in this time of spiritual attack, we ask that You be their shield and strength. In Ephesians 6:11, You instruct us to "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." Clothe them in Your armor, that they may stand firm against all forms of attack. Bring peace to their heart and mind, reminding them of Your constant presence and unwavering love.

We thank You, Lord, for the moments of calm and reassurance that they have experienced, such as the recent conversation with a family member. Continue to show Your presence in their life, Lord. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." May these words be a constant source of comfort and strength.

Father, we ask that You fill their heart with the Holy Spirit and let Jesus lead their path. Guide them with Your wisdom and love, and help them to trust in Your plan for their life. As they take these first steps in faith, remind them of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We pray all this in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
