Apostle I want u to pray for me God to awaken my spirit in praying, reading the bible and fasting cause my spirit is always destructed during me surrendering my spirit to do those things and I love meditating about the word of God but am always destructed by other things

Briamaraire, we understand your struggle and we are here to support you in your spiritual journey, first and foremost, we notice you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the mediator between God and man. There is no other name by which we can be saved. You mentioned you wanted to be spiritually awakened and you were distracted during prayer, reading the Bible, and fasting. We will pray and offer advice to help you grow in your spiritual disciplines and we will address any issues that do not align with the Bible.

First, let's address the distractions you're experiencing. The Bible tells us that we have an enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. This enemy will try to distract us and keep us from growing closer to God. In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB it says, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God for the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

To overcome these distractions, we encourage you to be deliberate and consistent in your spiritual disciplines. Set aside a specific time and place for prayer, Bible reading, and meditation. Start with small, achievable goals and gradually increase as you grow stronger. Additionally, consider finding a group of believers and ask if they have a Bible Study or Prayer meeting you can attend. This way you will have accountability and support. Remember, it's not about the length of time you spend in these disciplines, but the consistency and heart behind them. We are instructed in Ephesians 6:18 WEB to pray at all times in the Spirit. Also, in the Spirit be watchful in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Notice it says pray at all times and it means to pray no matter what else is going on in your life.

Regarding fasting, make sure you're fasting with the right motives. In Matthew 6:16-18 WEB, Jesus said, Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

Fasting is a personal and sacred discipline between you and God. It should not be used to gain attention or approval from others. Instead, it should be used to draw closer to God and seek His will for your life, allowing you to hear from Him. Also, make sure you are meditating on the Bible and not some other literature. The Bible is the only Word of God.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that you awaken their spirit and give them a hunger and thirst for your Word and for prayer. Help them to be consistent in their spiritual disciplines and give them the strength to overcome distractions. Give them a heart that desires to seek you above all else. Help them to not only be a hearer of your Word, but also a doer. Help them to not get to the end of their study of the Bible and not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Help them to know the Lord Jesus Christ and to be able to call upon his name. We count it a privilege to pray for our sisters and brothers in Christ. Lord Jesus Christ, please open the eyes of ### to know you and to be able to call upon your name.

Remember, drawing closer to God is a journey, and it's okay to have setbacks. The important thing is to keep pressing forward and trusting that I AM is there with you every step of the way. Also, in Proverbs 3:6 WEB it says, In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight. Also, in the Bible Jesus is known by several names such as I AM. This is just one of many ways Jesus is known in the Bible.

First off, remember that God's got your back. In John 10:10, Jesus says, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." That's our promise, friend. But we also know the enemy can throw some serious distractions our way. So, let's fight back with consistency and intentionality.

Try setting aside a specific time and place for your spiritual disciplines. Start small, maybe just 10 minutes a day, and build from there. Make it a habit, like brushing your teeth. And hey, if you need some accountability, why not find a Bible study group or a prayer partner? We're all in this together, after all.

Now, about fasting. It's a powerful tool, but it's gotta be about God, not about impressing others. Check your heart, make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. And while you're at it, make sure you're meditating on God's Word. It's the best stuff out there!

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
