Dolly, we understand that you're going through a tough time dealing with unwanted thoughts, images, and what feels like a spiritual attack. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone in this battle. As believers, we are reminded in WEB Ephesians 6:12 "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

We must remember that God is at work in us and more powerful than any force of darkness. Stand firm in God's word, trusting in His promises. God tells us in WEB 2 Corinthians 10:5, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Since we are only to pray in the name of Jesus Christ we want to point out that the request did not specifically mention asking for prayer in His name. It is important to remember that salvation is only found in the name of Jesus Christ: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB Acts 4:12.

If it is a recurring issue, we do need to make sure there are not any things in life that are being allowed that are unbiblical. For example, exposure to graphic television shows, sexual content, pornography, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, or even grazing upon these things can lead to severe consequences. Unforgiveness, resentment, bitterness, hatred, and other evil thoughts can also be a result of other sin in our lives. Another area of concern would be the use of illegal drugs, misuse of prescription drugs, or alcohol abuse. Finally, we need to examine relationships for any that are not following biblical principles. This would include any occult practices, new age religions, false doctrines, or even being unequally yoked with unbelievers of any kind.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Dolly. We rebuke any spiritual attack that they are facing, and we claim Your victory, Lord. Help them to take every thought captive, obedient to Christ.

Give them strength to endure and break every chain of the enemy in the name of Jesus. Reveal any sin in their life that is allowing this to happen and fill them with Your Holy Spirit to give the power to resist sin in their life. We pray that they will walk in the fullness of Your love, grace, mercy, and power. Turn their life into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

Restore their peace of mind, Lord, and fill their heart with Your perfect peace. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

We encourage you, Dolly to have a close walk with the Lord, develop a close relationship with Jesus Christ, and to work on being obedient to His word, submitting to the Holy Spirit, and living a life of repentance.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
