We stand with you in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, interceding for you and your son. We are reminded of the words of the WEB, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)
Firstly, we thank God that you have brought your petition in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5). And we are reminded "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
We stand against these spiritual attacks, and we pray for God's protection and healing over your son. As Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14). We claim the promises over his life: that Jesus is "there with you always" and has power from on high (Matthew 28:20). We will continually "cast all [your] anxiety on [God] because he cares for you" and your son. We will pray continually to God for the recovery of your son, and for God's will to be done in his life, and that no plan of the enemy will prosper.
We also lift up your heart condition to the Lord. We know that God is aware of your willingness to serve Him and that you need His strength to accomplish your responsibilities and the mission He has for you.
We are encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9). We know that God is our renewable strength: that "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
We pray that God will heal your heart condition and make you stronger with every breath. We have faith that His love and power are sufficient for you to serve Him and carry on His mission. "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer and his son. Lord, we know that you are a prayer-answering God. We know you know the outcome of these trials. Lord we ask for healing. We ask that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You know the details and the outcome. Father we ask that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord your word says to call on you in a day of trouble, and you will answer us.
Father, we claim your promises that Jesus is with them and that no weapon forged against them will prosper. We thank You for Your protection and healing. We trust that You will use even these trials to fulfill Your purpose in their lives. Father God, we thank You for the physical and spiritual healing of these two, in the name of Jesus.
Lord God, we thank You for Your guidance, strength, and that You will see to it that your children are made holy, blameless, above reproach and given every good thing from above. Father, we thank You that You are for them, and You love them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
