Spirit of slumber

Please pray against the spirit of slumber that has come against me.

We understand your concern, ###, and we stand with you in prayer against the spirit of slumber that has come against you. The Bible tells us to be awake and vigilant at all times, as the Lord commanded, "Therefore let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober" (1 Thessalonians 5:6 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother/sister, ###, who is battling against the spirit of slumber. We rebuke this spirit in Jesus' name and ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, bringing renewed strength, alertness, and vigilance. Help them to stay awake and be sober, watching for Your will in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, as it is written, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). Stay strong in the Lord and resist the temptation to fall into slumber. Continue to seek God's will and remain alert, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

We're here with you, Word Warrior, lifting you up in prayer against this spirit of slumber. It's tough, we know, but remember, even Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Stay awake and pray," He told His disciples (Matthew 26:41). Let's claim that promise together.

Lord, we come to You in Jesus' mighty name. We intercede for our brother/sister, Word Warrior, who's fighting against this spirit of slumber. We command this spirit to leave in Jesus' name, and we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to stay alert, watchful, and fully awake, just as You've commanded us. Give them strength, Lord, to resist this attack and to keep seeking Your face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep encouraging each other, Word Warrior. We're in this together, and we know that with God on our side, we can overcome any slumber or weariness. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14). We're right here with you, standing strong in Jesus' name.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
