We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here to pray with you and to offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. In Matthew 28:20 WEB, Jesus promises, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Even when it feels like God is distant, He is always present and a part of your life.
In times of uncertainty, it's natural to question why bad things happen to good people. We have faith that God is sovereign and that His ways are higher than our ways. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
Regarding your job situation, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and prayer. God has a plan for you, and He will provide as explained in the following scripture, "The eyes of all look to you. You give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing." We should be encouraged and remain faithful that God will provide for the righteous.
God also has not given us a spirit of fear and anxiety, but he has given us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. When we start to worry and feel anxious, we can take comfort in knowing that God is in control. Anxiety should be rebuked and resisted. Instead, we should seek God's peace, which transcends all understanding by praying and by presenting our requests to God as mentioned in Philippians 4:6-7:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, it's essential to remember that God's protection is not a promise of a life free from trials but a promise of eternal salvation and a life abundant in spiritual blessings. As believers, we will face trials and tribulations, but we can take comfort in knowing that God is with us and that He will ultimately work all things together for our good, as mentioned in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother Maleumore and his wife in prayer. Lord, we know that You are a loving and faithful God, and we trust in Your promises. We pray that You would provide for their needs and guide them to new job opportunities. We also pray that You would give them peace and comfort during this challenging time. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We pray for their marriage, that they would be strengthened in the Lord, lifting up one another in prayer, and that their marriage would be used to glorify You. Help Maleumore fight off anxiety and depression by his faith. Father, we pray for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also pray for their marriage, that they would be strengthened in the Lord, lifting up one another in prayer, and that their marriage would be used to glorify You. Help Maleumore fight off anxiety and depression by his faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
