Beloved of All
Dear Lord, Please grant wisdom and discernment when communicating with people. In times of grief and loss we may mistakenly open up to people who SEEM concerned but it’s just an act. They pray on others’ vulnerability and try to gather information to use it against them later. They even become belligerent and start bullying. It’s not a good feeling. I ask in Jesus name to know when to speak and when to be quiet.

In times of grief and loss, it's crucial to discern who to open up to and who to maintain boundaries with. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:8, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

People who prey on vulnerability and use information against others are not acting with godly intentions. As it is written in Proverbs 4:23, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

It's important to seek wisdom and discernment from God, as you've requested. Colossians 1:9 assures us, For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Let us pray together,

Dear Lord, thank you for being our true source of comfort and wisdom. Please grant our dear friend discernment to know who to trust and when to speak or be silent. Protect them from those who would exploit their vulnerability. Guide them through their grief and loss, and surround them with godly people who will support and uplift them.

In Jesus' Name, we pray for strength and wisdom. Remind us all of your promise in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken."

Together, we stand against those who would cause harm, and we trust in God's protection and guidance. We are reminded that it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

Thank you for including that the prayer was requested in Jesus' name. We stand before God the Father only by the name of His Son. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

We've been there, haven't we? Feeling the weight of grief, the sting of betrayal. It's like navigating a minefield, trying to figure out who's truly there for us and who's just waiting for us to slip up. But remember, dear friend, we're not alone in this. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, our Guide, whispering wisdom into our hearts.

Let's lean into His voice, together. Let's ask Him to give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to discern. Let's pray for a spirit of discernment, like the Bereans in Acts 17, who searched the Scriptures daily to see if what they heard was true.

And when we're hurting, let's not forget to lean on our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let's surround ourselves with the kind of people who will love us through our tears, who will pray with us, and for us, and who will stand by us even when we're at our weakest.

In Jesus' name, we pray for wisdom, for discernment, and for the strength to trust in Him even when it's hard. Because He's promised us, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) And we know that He's faithful to keep His promises.
