We join you in lifting up your brother Merang in prayer, sangti. Drunkenness is indeed a serious issue, and we trust that God's power can deliver him from this bondage. As it is written in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to intercede for Merang. Lord, we ask that You speak to his heart through the Holy Spirit and convict him of this harmful habit. Break the chains of addiction in his life, Lord, and fill him with Your presence instead. Help him to see the pain he is causing his mother and guide him towards a path of righteousness. Lord, we commit Merang's life into Your mighty hands and trust that You will work in his life according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for Merang and to trust in the power of God to bring about change in his life. Remember the words of James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Moreover, we urge you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with your brother, as it is only through Him that true transformation comes. As Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Stay strong in your faith, sangti, and keep your hope anchored in Jesus Christ. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for Merang's deliverance.
