We are glad to hear that your son ### has returned to the Lord and has made a general confession. It is wonderful that he is remorseful for his actions. We encourage you to continue praying for him, and we will join you in this as well. Remember that true repentance involves turning away from sin and pursuing righteousness. As it is written in Acts 3:19 WEB, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."
However, we want to address something important. We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together for ### and ###.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ### and ###. Lord, we ask that you grant the petition for bail for ###, and we thank you that he has returned to you and shown remorse for his actions. We pray that you continue to work in his heart, that he may walk in your ways and live a life pleasing to you. We also pray for ###, that you would give them strength and comfort during this time. Help them to trust in you and to seek your will above all else.
Lord, we know that you are good, and your love endures forever. We ask that you work all things together for good for ### and ###, according to your purpose. Guide them, teach us and help us to walk in obedience. May we give thanks to Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and reading God's word. We also encourage ### to pursue righteousness and to live a life that honors God. Remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
