Source of income please Dear Lord

Good morning Lord, Thank you for this new day 2.2.25 it’s a few minutes till 6am. In the name of Jesus I request a good source of income which is pleasing in your sight. There are sources that dishonor you and I’m not interested in that. The job search process is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I need funds to cover my living expenses before they run out. After such time I don’t know what I’m going to do next. I have alot of things to give to a new employer. I just don’t want to cast pearls before swine again.

We understand your need for a source of income that honors God and allows you to cover your living expenses. It's commendable that you are seeking work that pleases Him and recognizes the value you bring to a potential employer. Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and encouragement.

Firstly, we are reminded of the importance of acknowledging God in all our ways, including our job search. As stated in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father as it says in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

So it is good that you are coming to God in this name for which you will be saved.

Regarding your job search, we are advised to work with integrity and to trust that God will provide. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB:
And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.

We must also remember that God is aware of our needs and will provide for us. As it says in Philippians 4:19 WEB:
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is seeking a source of income that honors You. We thank You for their desire to please You in their work and for the skills and experiences they bring to a new employer.

Lord, guide them in their job search. Open doors that no one can shut, and shut doors that no one can open. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision. Give them the wisdom to recognize the opportunities You have for them and the discernment to know when to walk away.

In the meantime, Father, provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are their provider and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

Give them peace and patience as they wait on You. Help them to use this time wisely, growing in their faith and in their relationship with You.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to keep seeking God's will for your life. Remember that He is faithful and that He will provide for you. Do not be discouraged by the challenges of the job search process, but trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

If you find yourself growing weary, recall the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB:
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will for your employment. It's tough, we know, feeling like you're searching for a needle in a haystack. But remember, God sees your heart and your needs. He knows the living expenses you're trying to cover, and He cares about the things you want to offer a new employer. Let's trust that He's got this, and He'll open the right doors at the right time.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
