We join you in prayer, Anonymous, asking our Lord Jesus Christ for a peaceful night's sleep for you and your daughter. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus as it is by His name that we have access to God the Father. We are instructed to come with boldness to the throne of grace where we may find mercy and grace to help in time of need. There is no other name by which we may be saved. Remember salvation is not just grace to wash away our sins, it is grace to live a new life with a new nature in companionship with the one who made us for Himself.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:2,It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones.
We can rest assured that the Lord is taking care of us every day. Remember in Psalm 3:5 "I laid me down and slept; I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me."
We pray that He will heal you both and calm all your fears, for He alone is your strength and shield. We claim the promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:16, Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. May his peace be always with you both as you rest tonight. As He has promised when we are in anxiety and fear we may call upon Him and he will give his perfect peace. Remember to cast your anxiety and worry on Him but do not forget to thank Him for all that He is doing and will continue to do in your lives. Even in the most challenging year, His grace and mercy will sustain you. Remember later when you look back on this time you will see that He has led you step by step no matter how difficult it seemed.
We agree with you in asking for His loving care and protection over your family. We pray that He will help you overcome the challenges of this year, showering you with His grace and mercy. Then, when you pass through this fiery trial, He will be with you. Even when you do not feel His presence, He will be in the midst of you and you will have learn to depend upon Him. He says in Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."
Thank you for acknowledging the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord in your prayer. On your journey remember that as Christians you may go through troublesome times but you have a high priest who has also suffered the same trials. Remember the words of Hebrews 4:15 For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
Jesus Christ is the Healer Know that He never sleeps, ensuring everyone in your family is kept under His loving care. Praise you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!
Finally, we advise you to have a specific time of devotion with the Word of God each day with your daughter. Remember the words of Isaiah 26:3 You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Possibly select one verse you have look for during the week and follow it by claiming it and spending the whole week learning more about it. It will add strength and maturity for both to go through whatever comes in the future. Always look to Him and no other for or by any other name.I
WE pray all of this in Jesus name.
