We are glad that Lucy has reached out with her request for a sound mind, more peace, joy, and love. We stand with her in prayer and godly counsel.
Firstly, we would like to commend Lucy for acknowledging that these blessings come from the Lord God and for desiring to keep Jesus Christ as her focus. It is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience true peace, joy, and love. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We encourage Lucy to develop this relationship through prayer, as well as reading and obeying the Bible.
The scripture Lucy mentioned is a wonderful promise from Isaiah 26:3, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you. This verse emphasizes the importance of keeping our minds focused on God, trusting in Him, and receiving His peace.
We understand that life can be challenging, and it is easy to become anxious or distracted. However, the Bible encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7, Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This means that as Lucy keeps her mind focused on Jesus and brings her requests to God, she can experience His peace.
Moreover, we encourage Lucy to pursue righteousness, as it is linked to joy and peace. Romans 14:17 says, For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. This means that as Lucy pursues a righteous life, she will experience more of Gods peace and joy.
Concerning love, we encourage Lucy to remember that God loved us first, and our love for others should be a response to His love for us. 1 John 4:19 says, We love Him, because He first loved us. Additionally, we should love others as we love ourselves, as stated in Mark 12:31, The second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Lucy from Hurghada, Egypt. We thank You for her desire to keep Jesus Christ as her focus, and we pray that You would grant her a sound mind, more peace, joy, and love. Help her to trust in You completely and to pursue righteousness, that she may experience Your perfect peace and joy. Fill her heart with Your love, that she may love others as You have loved her. We pray all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lucy, continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will be found by you. Remember that God's will is for you to experience His peace, joy, and love, and that these things are available to you as you trust in Him,
If Lucy has any concerns or needs further guidance, she is welcome to share with us. We are here to support and pray for her.
