We stay at the same hotel room. I have sore throat and tonsil sickness, am very cold and she has diabetes and wants air condition in the room. She does not care that I am cold and in pain. She is blackmailing me like if she can't have A/c then she will leave me here. We are abroad and I have no car or any means of transportation to take all of my stuff with myself. I grew up with this attitude and could not advance in life because she bullied me.

Jesus comfort me and set me free from oppression. Help me to stay safe.

Let us first address your immediate physical needs, dear one. We will pray for your healing and comfort, as God promises us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask God to ease your sore throat and tonsil sickness, and to warm your body.

Now, let us address the difficult situation you are facing with your mother. It is clear that her behavior is not aligned with the godly instructions we receive in Ephesians 6:2, "Honor your father and mother," as her actions are harmful and manipulative. It is important to remember that while we are to respect our parents, we are not to tolerate abuse or blackmail. In Galatians 5:1, we are told, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

We pray, in Jesus' name, that God will give you the strength to stand up to her manipulation, and that He will provide a way out of this oppressive situation. We ask God to soften your mother's heart, as He is able to change even the hardest hearts. Remember, nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37).

We also pray for your provision and safety. In Philippians 4:19, we are assured, "And my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We ask God to provide you with a safe place to stay, a way to transport your belongings, and the means to support yourself.

Lastly, we pray for you to lean on Jesus, as you have called upon His name. He is your comfort and your freedom. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." Trust in Him, and He will see you through this trial.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up this dear one who is in distress. Please heal their body, comfort their heart, and provide a safe way out of this oppressive situation. God, we ask that You soften their mother's heart and turn her from her harmful behavior. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
