Firstly, we commend you for invoking the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and by his name we ask for all things. Further, it is Jesus saith: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Regarding your prayer to make a good decision aligned with the promptings of the Holy Spirit, we encourage you to be steadfast in prayer and faithful in reading God's Word. In Romans 12:2 WEB, it is written: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Spend time in prayer and in the Word, and the Holy Spirit will guide your decisions.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
