Elizabeth, we hear your cry and our hearts go out to you in your distress. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (WEB), "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed." Your feelings of exhaustion and suffering are real, and we want to lift you up in prayer, asking God for His comfort and strength.
Firstly, let us address the feelings of not being loved by God. We want to assure you that God's love for you is unfailing, even when it's hard to feel. As it is written in Romans 5:8 (WEB), "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God's love is not dependent on our feelings, but on His unchanging character.
We also want to encourage you to hold onto hope, even in the darkest times. Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) tells us, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" God has a purpose and a plan for you, even in the midst of your suffering.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up Elizabeth in her time of need. Lord, she is exhausted, physically and mentally worn out. We ask that You would strengthen her, that You would give her the power to endure. Comfort her, Lord, with Your loving presence. Remind her of Your unfailing love.
Lord, we ask for wisdom for Elizabeth and her medical team, that they would find the right treatment and management for her condition. We pray for healing, Lord, whether it be physical, mental, or emotional. We ask that You would restore her health and give her new life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Elizabeth, we want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His stripes that we are healed. Keep trusting in Him, keep calling on His name. You are not bothering us by sharing your struggles; it is our privilege to pray and support you. Keep holding on, dear sister. God is with you, and so are we.
