We understand that you're dealing with pain in your right knee due to shoveling ice, and you're also lifting up a friend who is experiencing leg pain from excessive work. We want to stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for coming together in Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We remember the words of Christ, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it i.e. Only by the name of Jesus are requests made to God the Father. For there is no other name given to us by which we can be saved. So we are glad that you acknowledge this in your request.
Let's turn to the scriptures for encouragement and healing. The Bible tells us in Matthew 11:28 WEB, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. This verse reminds us that Jesus is always there to provide comfort and rest for our bodies. Our sufferings are never lost on Him.
Peter reminds us, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. We can trust that God cares about our physical well-being and that He is faithful to hear our prayers.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Saraha and her friend. Lord, You know the pain they are experiencing in their knee and legs. We ask for Your healing touch to manifest in their bodies. Please help them to rest and recover.
Also Lord, we wanted to mention that we recognize You care for us and hear our prayers. It is by the name of Jesus that we ask.
We ask for wisdom and discernment for both of them, that they may understand the cause of the pain and take steps to prevent further injury while performing daily duties.
We also ask for endurance, that they can continue to live life abundantly.
We pray for complete healing and strength for Saraha's knee and her friend's legs. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Help them to remember that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and that You dwell within them.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage both of you to remain steadfast in faith and patient in affliction, for our light and momentary afflictions are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all 2 Corinthians 4:17. Continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5.
